SHOW NEWS - September 2011 - At the Regional Show, 20/21 August 2011 - Poppy gained a further title - she is now -
TICA DOUBLE GRAND CHAMPION CHANTARIS POPPY POMPREY
Thank you to the lovely judges who had, once more, such positive comments to make about her. We now have, here at Chantaris the only two Solid White Siberians in the UK who hold TICA (or any other Registry) titles. Very very proud.
SHOW NEWS - AUGUST 5 2011 - Poppy gains Chantaris Cattery their first homebred Title -
TICA GRAND CHAMPION CHANTARIS POPPY POMFREY -
Having had a break from showing for a few months, we found ourselves wanting to support the Northern TICA Show at Altrincham on July 30/31 2011, but with little to show. So we decided to take 'our Poppy'.
We had a lovely show, and it was wonderful to meet Tavolga Sibaris of Snowgum - who had just arrived from Moscow, and who did fantastically well, finalling in 9 out of 10 Rings, including 2 Best Cats. Our congratulations again to Meadow (which is her new name) and to Melanie at Snowgum Siberians - Meadow is beautiful, and will go from strength to strength. It was a pleasure to share the Show and to be beaten by this beautiful Siberian.
Poppy had a great time, both in the hotel and at the Show, and finalled in 3 out of the 10 Rings - which we really hadn't expected at all. She even beat the male Siberian on the Sunday in 3 of the 5 Rings for 2nd Best of Breed! Given that he was a Brown Spotted Tabby, it was nice to see the Judges felt that a Solid White was good enough! The comments we received from the Judges were very positive indeed, and it gives us great hope for the future of our Solid White Breeding Program.

who are the only Solid White Siberians in UK and TICA EW Region to hold a Title. It makes us very proud to be owned by them, and we would like to thank both Laila and Milkana for the opportunity we had to have Darya and Ataman (Poppy's parents). Without these cats, none of this would be possible.
SHOW NEWS - February 20 2011 - Cali has achieved the unbelievable -
TICA SUPREME GRAND CHAMPION
So very proud of her - she is only the 2nd Female Siberian in the UK to achieve this Title. RW SGC Laska Onix Gloria of Musrafy being the other - achieved in 2007. (She's Altai's Mum)!!

We are fortunate to have 'outcross' lines to these boys - which will enable us to work on the improvement and development of the Solid White Siberian here in the UK. Together with the work which Katyenka have done and continue to do, and the additional input from Sayadaws - it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Solid White.
We have yet to decide completely on which of our two boys we will keep as our potential stud cat - but whichever it is - they have excellent lines, combined with wonderful temperaments. They will provide a solid (excuse the pun) base for our breeding program - and we hope that we can add to the development of the Solid White Siberian. These truly are fantastic cats - and deserve to be seen.
